14-17 Aug - Mount Hotham, Falls Creek

Thursday 14/Aug

Despite the icy cold temperatures, most of those who were brave enough to hit the slopes came over to check out the van. If it wasn’t for the warm cups of noodles, I would have suffered from a serious case of frostbite during the day. Everyone was exited to know we would be on the mountain over the weekend. With the weather conditions on the improve, hopefully we can unveil the PlayStation3 and LCD.

Friday 15/Aug
Friday was the 39th consecutive day below zero at the top of Mt Hotham (apparently a record for the resort). The low temperatures in the morning caused slight issues with the urn, which was struggling to keep up the demand for noodles. However as the weather improved during the day the urn kicked over just in time for lunch.

Saturday 16/Aug
A bluebird morning meant fresh powder for all weekend skiers with people flocking to the slopes, making the most of the great snow conditions. Thankfully, the weather was much better than previous days, giving everyone the opportunity to hang out and use the PlayStation3.

Sunday 17/Aug
Sunday was the final activity at the top of Mt Hotham and certainly didn’t disappoint. Word had spread across about the Fantastic Noodle Van and free noodles, causing a huge crowd gathering around the van for the majority of the day. Everyone loved the set up and couldn't get enough of the chicken and beef noodles!
